The Writers Museum is hidden away of the Royal Mile in Lady Stair Close and it is a celebration of the many great writers to have come out of Scotland. The museum has 3 floors and each floor has exhibits for different writers from Scotland. These include Robert Burns, Sir Walter Scott and Robert Luis Stevenson.

You can follow the story of the lives of these famous men and see the printing press which Sir Walter Scott used to publish some of his novels and some portraits of Robert Burns as well as learning about how these men lived and Scotland influenced there work and their lives.
